God's Mystery

Blog written by Pastor Charlie of Four Soils Ministry

God created a plan and kept it a mystery, which was foreordained before the world was created and then kept secret for thousands of years until the cross (Jesus and Him crucified)(1 Cor 2:7).

God’s mystery (plan), which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: (Col 1:26)

In the beginning God created (Gen 1:1). God existed before the creation of the earth. The world did not happen by chance. The Bible tells us that God actually had a plan in place for this creation prior to Him creating it.

In the book of Corinthians Paul says he speaks the wisdom (plan) of God in a mystery, which was foreordained before the world was created and then kept secret for thousands of years until the cross (Jesus and Him crucified). Paul goes on to say that if God had not kept it a secret the human rulers (and Satan) would have tried to spoil God’s plan by not crucifying Jesus (1 Cor 2:7-8).

This is a key thought in the understanding of the doctrines of the “free will” of man and the “sovereignty” of God and how they co-exist. God’s plan of Jesus’ crucifixion was put in place (foreordained) before the world was created. Because of the foreknowledge of God, He foreknew of the evil activities of Satan and put a plan in place to defeat him.

Peter says in the last days there will be scoffers who will laugh at the truth and do every evil thing they desire. They will say "Jesus promised to come back, did he? Then where is he? Why, as far back as anyone can remember, everything has remained exactly the same since the world was first created." They forget that God made the heavens by the word of His command and He destroyed the world with a mighty flood. God has also commanded that the heavens and the earth will be consumed by fire on the day of judgment, when ungodly people will perish.

A day is like a thousand years to the Lord, and a thousand years is like a day. The Lord isn't really being slow about his promise to return, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to perish, so he is giving more time for everyone to repent. But the day of the Lord will come as unexpectedly as a thief. Then the heavens will pass away with a terrible noise, and everything in them will disappear in fire, and the earth and everything on it will be exposed to judgment. (1Peter 3:1-10)

Are you ready for His coming? Please submit comments or questions about the second appearing of Christ.

In the book of 2 Timothy, Paul tells Timothy that he had been taught the Holy Scriptures from childhood, and they had given him the wisdom to receive the salvation that comes by trusting in Christ Jesus. Paul goes on to say that all of Scripture is inspired by God, that it is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives, that it straightens us out and teaches us to do what is right, that it is God's way of preparing us in every way, and that it fully equips us for every good thing God wants us to do. (2 Tim 3:15-17)

The purpose of this blog and of Four Soils Ministry is to encourage the understanding and application of God’s Word. The Word of God is a schoolmaster that points a person to Jesus Christ.

God is an all knowing God. He knows everything that has happened and every thing that will happen. This is called foreknowledge. In His sovereignty God knows what will happen in the lives of an individual yet does not force it (foreordain) but allows am individual freedom of choice. Foreordination is spoken of in terms of Christ crucifixion and the method of salvation.

1 Cor 2:7-8 is stating that God had allowed the rulers of Jesus’ day the freedom to choose to crucify or not crucify Jesus. By keeping the purpose of the crucifixion a secret until after the event allow them to make the choice that God had foreknow they would make under the circumstance.

God’s foreknowledge allowed Him to know of man’s sin (Adam & Eve) (Israel) (you and I). Before He every created a single being He knew of the need for reconciliation and therefore planned the cross. God foreordained (planned) the cross, but does not foreordain a specific person’s salvation. He foreknows but does not coerce a decision.

Ephesians 1:4 speaks of the method of salvation and that is a believer is chosen in Christ and in Christ the individual is holy and without fault, but not on the individual’s merit, but Christ’s.

Long ago, even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes.(Eph 1:4)

This interpretation allows for an impartial God that treats all humans the same and holds each human to the same standard.

He is risen!

Before the world was created God put a plan in place that involved Jesus’ death, burial, and resurection and kept it a secret for thousands of years (1 Cor 2:7). This plan (mystery) was only revealed after the fact (Col 1:26), because if God had not the rulers of Jesus’ day would have not crucified Him (1 Cor 2:7-8).

Both God’s plan and the need for the plan demonstrate both man’s God granted freedom and God’s foreknowledge. God foreknew that Adam and Eve were going to sin, yet He still created them and gave them the ability to rebel (freedom of choice). He also knew that if mankind knew of Christ’s purpose thay would again using their God given freedom and make every attemp to block His plan of redemption.

God was able to fulfill His foreordained crucifixion by allowing Jesus to be born in the fullnes of time (a time when God foreknew the response of the rulers) when they would shout crucify Him, crucify Him.

The Bible says in the last days there will be scoffers that question the Word of God. Just this week, the week before Easter Sunday there have been a number of articles in the media questioning the validity of Jesus and the crucifixion.

The Bible says that Jesus is tarring waiting for many to believe in Him. I pray that His delay has been beneficial to you.

He is risen! He is risen indeed!

God created man for His pleasure. He loves His creation and desires none to perish, yet just as we wrestle with the understanding of foreordination and foreknowledge we must also wrestle with God’s justice and His grace. Both this subjects play together. God has established a covenant with man (rules). His justice requires that He holds man accountable, but He knew (foreknowledge) that we would sin. Yet in His grace He has allowed for a method of restoration (the cross – foreordained).

The method of restoration is by grace through faith in the work of Jesus Christ. (His death, burial, and resurrection).

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me (John 14:6)

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name (other than Jesus) under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (Acts 4:12)

John 3:16 states "For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life." This verse implies that a person has the God granted freedom to accept or reject God's offer of recociliation in Christ. This is a consistent message of Scripture.

God gave Adam and Eve a choice and the freedom to choose. God gave Cain the freedom of choice and the freedom to choose. God gave Israel the choice of life or death, a blessing or curse and the freedom to choose.

It appears He has given us the same freedom and choice. What had been our decision?

This is the mystery of God:

God is Male and Female

Genesis 1:27

27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

*do you see the emphasis of the word FEMALE in the scripture?*

*so when we see this we can tell that the Holy Spirit or Spirit of God is God's Glory. The Glory of the Father is the Holy Spirit.*

*We know this by the things that are made, chiefly men and women according this next script from the Bible:

1 Corithians 11:7

7 For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God; but woman is the glory of man.*

By the way, check this next scripture:

Revelation 10:7

7 but in the days of the sounding of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, the mystery of God would be finished, as He declared to His servants the prophets.

So what we are dealing with here is that the mystery of God has been revealed; and by the days of the sounding of the seventh trumpet, this mystery will be finished and everyone will know. The bible does say he will coming like a thief in the night

So from what we know, the Father is Male the Holy Spirit is female, He is the Helper like Eve is a suitable helper to Adam.

I found a book at Amazon God vs. Satan : The Untold Story which claims to be the Little Book
predicted to explain God’s Mystery to mankind in Rev. 10.

My family didn’t believe it, but we read it anyway. And it is true. I understand everything Jesus said. EVERYTHING! Even know where he left out information on purpose because his generation wasn’t ready for the truth.

I understand souls, God, how Satan’s Kingdom is divided, and how God and Satan fight
in the world today. Except the actual truth is different from what anyone expects.

It is a small book, as predicted, but every page is packed with new ideas. The words draw
pictures, making the understanding easy. Even how creation started. And what the Holy
Ghost is made out of.

It was written in the Bible that it would come in the hands of an angel to the world from God.
I read it, and I don’t believe any human mind could have that much new information by itself.
A thousand geniuses couldn’t have written that book.

The fact that it is here today amazes me. We must be in end times for it to exist.
I need an expert on Revaluations to commit on the book.

I even understand why God went into hiding. Once you understand his mystery, what he really
is, his early involvement in world affairs, and his absence later on becomes obvious. So does
his return and when and why.

No one religion captured the truth. But many got pieces of it. But the real truth makes complete
sense of reality.

The only thing that would make sense to me is that "God" would've been an alien from space. Angels came from the sky so would aliens. All pictures of angels shows an "angelic crown" as a circle around the head, that could as well be glass as astrounats have when they travel space.

I'm not saying that it is true but it could. I'm a beliver in god but i'm human aswell so I i think and question everything.

hello and thank for your file that i have read. i would like to make a comment or you could say a question. why do you choose to use the name Jesus, as that is not the name of the Son of true and Living God. He the Son said i come in my Fathers name the Fathers name is not Jesus! There are so many other proofs that Christian religion follows that are not truths. i would dearly like to expand some dialogue for the mutual benefit of or trust & faith in the grace and truth of Him who is life and peace
